Misfits, one of the most adored sitcoms that even bagged a BAFTA for best drama, didn't guarantee lasting success for all its cast members.
But despite being off-screen for longer than 10 years, it still gains new fans now thanks to its home on streaming services such as Netflix.
The show served as a significant launchpad for some cast members, leading to massive Hollywood success and roles in major TV series in certain cases.

Misfits revolved around a group of young offenders doing community service. Everything was going smoothly until an odd electrical storm endowed them with special abilities, ranging from telepathy to time-jumping.
It premiered on November 12, 2009, so to celebrate the anniversary, Daily Star takes a look at what the cast did next.
Robert Sheehan - Nathan
Robert emerged as one of the show's breakout stars, playing the role of Nathan. Initially immortal, Nathan was shown to have vanished to Vegas just before series three.
He has since starred in Killing Bono alongside Ben Barnes on the big screen, BBC One drama Accused, and series two of Sky Atlantic's Fortitude show.
His most notable role has been as the lovable Klaus in Netflix's Umbrella Academy. The show has been a huge hit, with a final season premiering earlier this year in August.
He turned to writing fiction during the Covid lockdown and has a book out.
The star revealed that he turned to meditation following the "most miserable time of his life" a few years ago, and has since apologised to many of his former partners for being "selfish."
Iwan Rheon - Simon
Iwan Rheon, known for his role as Simon, became a household name thanks to his portrayal of Ramsay Bolton in Game Of Thrones. He faced controversy over graphic rape scenes in the show, which he described to Metro as "the worst day of my career".
Despite losing out on the role of Jon Snow to Kit Harington, the two remained friends. Rheon's character Simon in Misfits had the power of invisibility and he exited the show at the end of series three.
His other roles include BBC One's Our Girl, ITV sitcom Vicious, Urban Myths as a young Adolf Hitler, and Mötley Crüe guitarist Mick Mars in the film The Dirt.
He shares one child, born in August 2018, with his actress girlfriend Zoe Grisedale.
Nathan Stewart-Jarrett - Curtis
Nathan Stewart-Jarrett portrayed Curtis in the show, a character with the power of time manipulation. Post-Misfits, he starred in a C4 series called Utopia and performed alongside Andrew Garfield in Angels in America.
He also featured in a music video by Years and Years titled Real released in 2014. In 2019, Stewart-Jarrett took on the lead role in Mope, a unique crime film about the life of porn actor Steve Driver.
More recently, he landed a leading role in Disney+ series Culprits.
Antonia Thomas - Alisha
Antonia portrayed the character of Alisha until the conclusion of series three. She later appeared in music videos for Coldplay and Stereophonics, and took on the lead role in Netflix's Lovesick.
One of her most significant roles was as Dr Claire Browne in the US drama The Good Doctor, which boasted a viewership of 20 million. Antonia was also cast in the Channel 4 show Suspect alongside James Nesbitt and Richard E Grant, which aired earlier in 2022.
Ruth Negga - Nikki
Ruth Negga played the role of Nikki in Misfits for one series, with her character meeting her end in the series two Christmas special. In 2011, Negga depicted the legendary Shirley Bassey in BBC Two's biopic Shirley.
She had recurring roles in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD series and appeared in Amazon's comic-book adaptation Preacher as Tulip O'Hare, alongside fellow Misfit star Joseph Gilgun. She received an Oscar nomination for best actress for her role in Loving in 2016.
It was announced in September 2021 that she would be making her Broadway debut in a production of Shakespeare's Macbeth as Lady Macbeth, with Bond star Daniel Craig playing Macbeth. Negga was in a relationship with Dominic Cooper from 2010, and they cohabited for six years before parting ways.
Their split wasn't reported until 2018, but she has since acted with him and stated they are "best friends."
Joseph Gilgun - Rudy
Joseph Gilgun played Rudy Wade and was the first of many cast changes, serving as the "replacement" for Nathan. His character had multiple personalities.
Gilgun, known for his roles in This Is England and films such as Pride and The Last Witch Hunter, also starred in Preacher alongside Ruth, playing drug addict vampire Cassidy. Producers deemed him "perfect" for the part.
Joseph then created, executive produced, and starred in the Sky series Brassic with Michelle Keegan. He has openly discussed living with bipolar disorder in interviews and podcasts, revealing that many scenes in Brassic were inspired by his life.
Gilgun also featured in The Infiltrator film, alongside Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston, and remains close to many of his This Is England co-stars.
Lauren Socha - Kelly
Lauren Socha, who originally won a BAFTA award for her role as Kelly in Misfits, saw her part abruptly end after she was found guilty of aggravated assault. She did not return for the show's fourth series, in what was described as a "mutual decision."
However, Lauren's career rebounded with roles in ITV2's Plebs, C4's Catastrophe and BBC's The Other One.
She also starred alongside Michelle Keegan in Strangeways Here We Come. Lauren's older brother Michael is also a well-known actor, having appeared in This is England, BBC series Time and Chernobyl.
In 2016, she announced on Twitter that she had given birth to a little girl.
