My Parents are Aliens have reunited 25 years since the CITV show first aired and fans are all full of nostalgia.

Tong Gardner who played Brian on the show took to social media to share the snap of the cast who all posed for a pic on their rare meet-up.

The star smiled as he was pictured with his co-stars Danielle McCormack (Mel), Alex Kew (Josh), Charlotte Francis (Lucy), Carla Mendonça (Sophie), and Patrick Niknejad (Pete).

He captioned the tweet on X: "My Parent are Aliens 25th Anniversary. Love you all. Xxxx" Fans of the show rushed to the thread to share their thoughts on the reunion snap.

One praised the cast and wrote: "Such a nostalgic reunion. So great to see you all back together. Happy 25th Anniversary My Parents are Aliens!" A second gushed: "Wow, just wow. 25 years already. I remember rushing home from school & turning off the boring shows my mom was watching to put this on. Thank you for making a fantastic show."

While a third penned: "Happy anniversary to you all. One of the last great original CITV shows. Remember it fondly, in the initial airings and the many reruns." A fourth cheekily quipped: "So it turns out I still fancy the goth big sister after all these years."

Another was shocked at how grown up the Lucy Barker actress is now, who was the youngest of the bunch, by saying: "Wow! Lucy is all grown up!" Fans also pleaded for them to make a reunion episode to celebrate and one other also thought of another great show idea, by adding: "Would love to see my Grandparents are Aliens."

The iconic noughties kids TV show originally aired on CITV for eight series from 1999 until its cancellation in 2006. Over the years, it won five Royal Television Society Awards and was nominated for three Children's BAFTAs.
