A man has been taken to hospital after a crash that led to the closure of a road in Derby. Derbyshire police said it was called to Duffield Road, Derby, at around 7am on Monday, January 20.
The force said the collision involved a Vauxhall Zafira and a Land Rover Discovery near the junction with Park Lane, Allestree. A man has been taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, police said.
Bus operator Trentbarton said it had to divert a number of services as the road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident. A Derbyshire police spokesperson said: "We received reports of a collision in Duffield Road, Derby, just after 7am on Monday 20 January.
"The collision involved a Vauxhall Zafira and a Land rover Discovery. One man has been taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
"The road reopened just before 8am."
