Tracy Brimer
This was one of the most unorganized, awful hotel stays ever. I was so excited to stay there. After a 2 hour drive, then a 3 hour flight, we were tired. We walked in to complete chaos. The front lobby had people everywhere, and, just my luck, I got in the wrong line. The lady at the desk was very gracious and helped us anyway. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were given our room keys and sent to the blue elevators. People were piled up and complaining there, too. Two of the four elevators were completely out of service. The other two were barely functional. We were told by other guests to be prepared for a long wait to get an elevator. When we finally did get on, we swiped our room card to select our floor, but the elevator did not keep our selection. We had to repeatedly swipe and select, and if you missed the narrow window to get your floor number punched in, you would just have to ride the elevator until the next opportunity. When we finally got to our room, it was already occupied by other guests! We quickly backed out and had to make our way back to the front desk, for another wait in line, on the gamble elevators. Luckily, we did not walk in on anyone or any therapy- inducing activities. The management gave us a free upgrade to a master suite, which was an executive suite, plus the room next door. It was nice, except we were not business CEOs having conferences in our hotel room. We were so tired that we opted for room service. One meal was $21, for a burger and fries, plus an added service fee of $9, all before tip. Then, the next morning, I awoke to an extra $99 charge on my card. The front desk told me that it was because their "system" didn't think I had enough money to cover the room. Talk about insulting and humiliating. I was told it would drop off within 7 days. and three weeks later, I am still waiting. If you stay at the Luxor in Vegas, I hope it is fabulous for you. We were never so glad to get out of a hotel in all our years of travel.

I have to say this property was great. The staff is helpful and friendly. My room was great. The bed was soft, and the pillows were soft as well. The bathroom needs a little more detailing but overall nice and big. The casino.... the table dealers were great.

Easy to get to and super cool decor! They asked us what floor we wanted to be on, so we picked the 18th. Great views! Everyone from the valet, the "bellhop" who brought our luggage to our room, to the check-in, restaurant staff, etc. everyone was nice. It's clean and they have plenty of casino games. We love our stay here!

Affordable Vegas Vibes with Plenty to Do The Luxor is a great option if you're visiting Vegas on a budget but still want the full resort experience. The rooms are definitely a bit dated, but they’re clean and totally functional for a comfortable stay. What really stands out is how much there is to do on-site—the new Play Playground is such a fun addition, giving guests something interactive and modern to enjoy. Service has always been friendly and helpful during my stays, which really makes a difference. The location is decent—close enough to the action but with a more laid-back vibe compared to the center of the Strip. If you're looking for something luxe and ultra-modern, this might not be your spot. But if you want great value, a unique property, and plenty to do without even leaving the hotel, Luxor delivers.

Nice place to stay. I would recommend an upgrade for a room with a refrigerator and microwave because you are going to need it. No water fountains was a definite negative. The convenience stores are very high with prices. I bought 2 sandwiches and a beer and water for $48. Every restaurant is high priced. Be expecting to pay at least $25 per meal. Must see the exhibits. Went to see Bodies and Titanic exhibit for a good price. Nice statues and decor.
