Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard is recovering in hospital after undergoing surgery following a football injury.
The presenter posted a picture from his hospital bed on Tuesday morning (July 6), showing fans his leg as he prepared for the surgery.
"Op happens today!! so far so good - arrow on the correct leg @andipeters on the tv + super stylish socks in place," he wrote.
Following his surgery, a groggy Ben then gave an update, explaining how he had ruptured his ACL, torn his meniscus and fractured his leg during a football match.
"Hi everybody, thank you for all the amazing, lovely messages," he said. "For those who didn't know, I ruptured my ACL and tore my meniscus in my knee playing football."
Previously, Ben had explained on GMB that he sustained the injury while playing with his former schoolmates in their veteran's team.
The presenter didn't initially realise how bad his injury was because he'd severed the nerves, meaning he continued on playing in the match!
Ben then went on to give an update on how he was feeling following the surgery.
"So they've repaired the ACL and the meniscus and now starts the rehab - very slow, long, rehab," he said. "Have to say though, the painkillers seem to be doing the job right now!"

Tagging his co-stars Kate Garraway and Susanna Reid, Ben then joked: "I can't believe I broadcast on painkillers like this a few years back!
"Kate Garraway and Susanna Reid - what were you thinking letting me broadcast when I felt like this?"
Get well soon, Ben!
