Justin has a surprise planned for Scarlett and takes her to a secluded beach for a romantic picnic.
Justin and Scarlett's date goes well, with both heading out for a swim and sharing a moment while in the water. As they get out of the water, Justin hangs back for one last dip and walks further in before diving. He is under the water for a while and when he doesn't surface, Scarlett begins to panic.
Meanwhile, Brody is worried about Ben's inevitable disapproval and the timing of his relationship with Ziggy, but she says they can just keep it between them. As he is about to leave, the Astonis arrive home and almost catch Brody, who makes a quick exit. Irene sees Brody and can tell from his smile that he and Ziggy haven't broken up. He asks her to keep it to herself, which she agrees to.
Elsewhere, Ben finally gets to talk to Alf and Leah about the heritage listing. Maggie discovers that Nick Dutton was behind it and comes up with an idea. Ben apologises to Leah and matters seem resolved.
