Former The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs has hit back at trolls who claim she doesn't love her son as much as her other children.

Amy, who is currently expecting twins with her partner First Dates contestant Billy Delbosq, responded to the comments during an interview with OK Magazine saying that the cruel comments about her 4-year-old son Ritchie get her down.

Alongside Ritchie, she also has 5-year-old Polly.

"Ritch is so much like me and I’d love to show him on socials, but we have an agreement with his dad," Amy said.

"So yeah, it does get me down, because I get constant messages from people saying, 'You love your daughter, these twins are going to come and you’re going to love them much more than your son'.

"People don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. It’s not nice."

The reality star has previously explained that due to a custody agreement with her son's father, she doesn't show his face on social media. Despite the explanation, she still gets accusations of favouritism which have been upsetting.

However, she said that if Ritchie wants his own social media account when he's older it will be completely down to him.

"If Ritchie wants to be on social media when he gets older, that’s absolutely fine," Amy added.

Amy announced last November that she was pregnant for the third time, revealing that she is expecting one girl and one boy.

In a previous interview with OK!, Amy revealed she hadn't intended to have more children before she met Billy.

"I promise you now, I didn't want any more children. When I met Bill, I thought, 'Do you know what, I'll have one more'. We are so excited – it's going to be absolutely amazing," she shared.
