DB Woodside is ready to lead his own show.
Despite starring in multiple successful shows over the years such as Lucifer, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Suits and 24, plus recent Netflix hit The Night Agent, Woodside has yet to get his time in the spotlight as a lead character.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday (August 15) to address this in what he described as the "boldest" tweet he'll ever send, Woodside began: "Lucifer. Big success. Blessed to play my part. Night Agent. Big success. Blessed to play my part. Suits. Big success. Blessed to play my part."

The actor then added: "In conclusion: I think I deserve the opportunity to lead my own show."
Plenty of fans voiced their agreement with Woodside in his replies, including Heroes star Sendhil Ramamurthy, who wrote: "I’ll be tuning in."
Buffy the Vampire Slayer writer Jane Espenson also shared support for her former colleague, tweeting: "Undoubtedly."

Woodside's latest role was as special agent Erik Monks in The Night Agent, though he won't be returning for season two. That's because his character died in the season one finale.
Previously discussing Monks' shocking demise, Gabriel Basso, who plays Peter Sutherland, told Variety: "It feels a little unrealistic if everybody makes it out alive. Shawn [Ryan, creator] wanted to make this as grounded as possible, and in the real world you aren’t the main character.
"No one is indispensable, and it is nice to feel that. There is a reminder throughout the season that this isn’t a 'happily ever after' story. If it is that, it undoes the whole structure of the show."
The Night Agent is available to watch now on Netflix.
