Synalar

For adults and children over 1 year old, apply a thin layer of Synalar to the affected area once or twice a day. Gently rub the medication into the skin until it's absorbed. Remember not to cover the treated area with a bandage or dressing unless instructed by your healthcare provider. It's important not to exceed the prescribed dosage or frequency of application. If you accidentally use too much Synalar, contact your doctor for advice. 

Each gram of Synalar contains 0.25 mg of fluocinolone acetonide as the active ingredient. The excipients in Synalar include propylene glycol, cetyl alcohol, white petrolatum, and sorbic acid. 

Common side effects of Synalar may include burning, itching, or dryness at the application site. However, if you experience severe skin irritation, allergic reactions like rash or swelling, or notice changes in skin color, seek medical help promptly.

Avoid using Synalar if you are allergic to any of its components. It's important to inform your doctor about any existing skin infections or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have a history of certain skin conditions or are using other skin medications, consult your healthcare provider before starting Synalar. It's crucial to follow your doctor's recommendations to ensure safe and effective use of this medication.
