Overview
Retired covert operative Bryan Mills is trying to put his life back together. His years of dangerous government service cost him his marriage to his wife and nearly cost him his relationship with his daughter, Kim. With those days behind him, Bryan is trying to make up for lost time and become the father he always wanted to be to his now 16 year-old daughter. When he's approached by his ex-wife and Kim about an upcoming trip to Europe she wants to take with her best friend, Bryan reluctantly agrees, fearing for her safety. When his fears are realized and Kim is mysteriously taken by several men, his unique training is called back into action, only this time it's to save his daughter's life.
