The Boys' social media team reveals which themed Twitter remote was too naughty for the social media platform. After confirming that the next episode in The Boys Season 3 is the long-awaited "Herogasm" story, the Twitter account teased fans with a look at the rejected emoji: An eggplant wearing a red cape (below). The vegetable has become synonymous with male genitalia, a reference to the debauchery that is expected from the infamous plotline. It's currently unknown why Twitter didn't allow the custom emote but fans suspect that it's likely due to the overtly sexual nature of the visual. "Herogasm" is arguably the most notorious arc of The Boys comic book. Written by Garth Ennis and illustrated by John McCrea and Keith Burns, the narrative sees the world's superheroes retreating to an isolated island where they engage in their most depraved fantasies. Fans have long wondered how the Prime Video series intends to adapt the arc given the inherently graphic nature of the story, a factor that series star Jensen Ackles confirmed will be highlighted in the episode which premieres on Prime Video this Friday. Despite the seemingly disturbing nature of the upcoming installment of The Boys Season 3, showrunner Eric Kripke reassured audiences that while "Herogasm" may disgust them, it will also be more emotional than many expect. "One thing we managed is to get several genuinely emotional, heartbreaking scenes in that orgy," Kripke teased. "If there is anything that The Boys does well, we can break your heart in the middle of an orgy!” (via CBR)

Disney’s beloved little deer is all grown up — and has gone absolutely feral. That’s the immediate takeaway from the first trailer of “Bambi: The Reckoning,” the latest assault on both the senses and yet more cherished children’s IP from the creators of micro-budget smash hit slasher “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey.” In this very twisted take on the Bambi story, our deer — now not simply grief-stricken over the death of his mother but also mutated, enormous and sporting an array of sharp, terrifying teeth — embarks on a deadly rampage through the woods seeking revenge. He throws cars into the air with his giant antlers, charges into otherwise lovely-looking country houses and chases after holidaying families in caravans. There’s a decapitation, several maulings and plenty of blood. In short, this it to be kept as far away from children as humanly possible. “Bambi: The Reckoning” is set to launch this summer, with ITN Studio releasing the film alongside Premiere Entertainment. Fresh from her much-celebrated cameo in Universal’s big screen adaptation of “Wicked,” Kristen Chenoweth is set to lend her vocals — and songwriting skills — to an altogether different movie. The Tony and Emmy-winning stage and screen star will sing an original end title song during the closing credits on “The King of Kings,” the upcoming animation based on the life of Jesus Christ from Angel Studios, the distributor of 2023 hit “The Sound of Freedom.” The song “Live Like That,” described as a sharing a “story of yearning for a childlike faith,” has also been co-written by Chenoweth, alongside Kellys Collins, Tim Nichols, Matt Wynn and was produced by Keith Thomas. Set to premiere in U.S. theaters on April 11 and inspired by Charles Dickens’ book “The Life of Our Lord,” “The King of Kings” is billed as a contemporary telling of the life of Jesus, combining Dickens’ narrative with a journey of faith, seen through the eyes of a child.
