This training program has been developed as part of our SOMRA project and aims to foster environmental competences as well as green entrepreneurship and civic competences of low-qualified migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. This training is suitable for the professionals who work with migrants and refugees, particularly in personal development, employability, environmental, and entrepreneurship contexts.

This training, which is designed at a low to medium complexity level, in order to be effective for the target group of audience, focuses on how current and local/regional environmental issues can be identified and solved in an innovative and cost-effective way as well as necessary skills for successful green entrepreneurship in NGOs. The training also fosters relevant competences of migrants, refugees, and people from minority ethnic backgrounds, which will also enhance their employability potential as they gain localised experiences that can be transferred and validated in a broad manner. For example, the training will support the acquisition of learning-to-learn competences and digital literacy, which are both basic competences relevant in any context. In order to make this training sustainable and the knowledge transferable into new locations and situations, digital literacy like learning how to research online will also be a crucial key competence addressed.
