Dice are the oldest gaming technology we have. Predating recorded history, they were the first way humankind found to condense luck into a solid object, and have survived through the millennia as a symbol of chance and of play, a symbol we all can understand. Even when they’ve got arms and legs, and their sides are plastered with a smiling cartoon face. might not all that reverent about its six-sided subject matter – beyond the breezy presentation, its characters are constantly poking fun at the idea of ‘good luck’ – but the game understands the power dice hold, and wields that power brilliantly.
