I know there are people who continue to believe CASA has something against general aviation. It is claimed we ignore the needs of general aviation, fail to listen to the views of people from general aviation and create regulatory problems for the sector. Some people go as far as to say CASA deliberately takes decisions which disadvantage general aviation.

I do understand the genesis for some of this thinking.
