Sig Sauer Ballistic Data Xchange system

This European sounding, US designed but Asian made range of optics includes scopes, rangefinders, image stabilised mini spotting scopes, reflex, red dot and laser sights, and binoculars.

Their new kid on the block utilising the latest technology is their BDX range, which stands for Ballistic Data Xchange. Basically what this consists of is a rangefinder that connects via Bluetooth to an app on your phone to receive ballistic information. It then sends that information to the scope, illuminating an aiming dot on the vertical crosshair - this last step a bit like the Burris Eliminator does. it differs from the Eliminator in that the scope doesn’t have the range finder in it, which keeps the weight (26oz) and bulk on your rifle to not much more than a conventional scope of a similar objective size.
