ADI GILLESPIE is out of his comfort zone. When you consider that we’re talking about a man who joined the UK’s Royal Air Force (RAF) at 17 and served in Afghanistan, who was employed as a personal trainer to a member of the Saudi royal family and has travelled the world playing rugby, that’s quite a statement. But Gillespie’s latest project has him rattled. At least, a little. “It’s probably been the most difficult thing I’ve ever done,” he says. “All of the things I did before this involved a physical aspect – and that kind of stuff I find quite easy. But this has been just completely different.”
