VOGUE AUSTRALIA: Having worked in technology start-ups before you joined Depop, what appealed to you most about the company’s modus operandi?

MARIA RAGA: “I’ve always had a dream to get as far ahead working in digital, so Depop’s mobile-first, social-first business really appealed to me. Meeting Simon [Beckerman], Depop’s founder, really opened my eyes to the endless possibilities of Gen Z. A generation that’s transforming the way we do, and think about, business every single day, but also a generation that’s paving the way for the future – a more sustainable, equitable one.”
