know how hard it can be to be creative under difficult circumstances, as I have struggled with isolation and jaded creativity in the past due to a short illness and, of course, the recent lockdowns. During illness, I chanced on the therapeutic benefits of doodling through zentangles and zendalas. Needing only a piece of paper, a pencil and a pen meant I didn’t have to take out lots of my usual equipment, and I could put the art I made down and pick it up again at my leisure.
