I’m often amazed that I write horror.

It shouldn’t be in my wheelhouse. I was absolutely as a kid. I had to turn on the lights whenever I entered a room. The sight of a scary movie cover in the local rental store (remember those?) could give me nightmares for weeks. And I still remember my dad telling me that if I wasn’t brave (which I really wanted to do). I was a certifiable coward.
