Get official: Many people start businesses without going through the official channels. When you do this, you're missing out on opportunities. Governments and agencies often have grants and special facilities, such as low-interest loans and business incubator programmes, for small businesses. There are also tax incentives if you employ people. But these opportunities are only available to registered businesses.
