New species unearthed on island reveals more about dinosaurs that roamed Britain

A new species of dinosaur that was as heavy as an elephant roamed the Isle of Wight around 125 million years ago, analysis suggests.

The specimen, unearthed in the cliffs of Compton Bay, represents the most complete dinosaur discovered in the UK in a century with 149 bones in total, researchers said.
