Transform a dowel, a wooden disc and an old belt into a high-impact candlestick. Cut 25mm-diameter dowel to your desired lengths (ours range from 23 to 28cm). Using a holesaw (), cut a 76mm-diameter circle from a 25mm-thick plywood off-cut. Sand the pieces, stain, and allow to dry. Centre the dowel on the circle and screw together from the bottom. Trim the belt into 8cm-long pieces (we used five on a 25cm dowel). Apply wood glue to the back of each piece and secure to the dowel, spacing them equally apart.
