      This is a very thorough overview of the issues and discussions relating to the search for extra terrestrial intelligence. This science is really good. there are some conclusions in this that might be a bit surprise in, but I think the argument supporting them a very strong. However, I did find some of the flippant comments annoying and some of them inappropriate. I was I thought the narrator I was trying to put on voices and different accents sounded really terrible. I would’ve preferred list flippancy around this topic, and for the narrator just read the text straight. Some of the narrators accents with borderline offensive. Otherwise, well worth a listen.

      Although Paul Davies' book, The Eerie Silence is a somewhat more realistic view of SETI, this one also gives a good review of the topic. The best part is that the author is really funny. Almost every page has a clever humorous way of expressing something, and I often laughed out loud.
