In the Mood For A Jar of Doom - Jonathan Kump

    Doom, Death, and Despair

I'm in a band called Doom, Death, and Despair

We play local gigs, usually during happy hour

    Life Is A Beautiful Thing

    I held her hand

    And whispered I believe

    And felt her inner breath

    She has been here

    For a long time

    Sleeping, between life and death

    I closed my eyes

    And conveyed the words

Spoken from my heart to hers

    It was the poem

    She wrote as a child

    Deepest emotion it stirs

    And in the silence

    We shared a tear

No one heard the angels sing

    But as she smiled

    We truly witnessed

    Life Is A Beautiful Thing

    Surfer Friend’s Final Words

    We each and we all

Stood on the beach and recalled

    Our friend’s final words

    From this morning

He rushed out to the sea

    As he shouted with glee

    Aah, shark warning schmark warning

    Doomy

    At the Doomsday Eve soiree

    I felt kind of gloomy

Til I saw you from far away

In your shirt that said Just Doomy

    Favorite Breath

Because you were my favorite breath

I held you for so long

Until I died an airless death

    That didn't seem so wrong

    Onyxxe

    Her piercing
