I. J. Follower
I. J. Follower is a penname, short for Imperfect Jesus Follower. I started my relationship with Jesus over thirty years ago as a child and seek to know Him more each day. I am a husband and father of five children who is not immune to the normal struggles of life. I’ve held my father’s hand as he took his last breath, faced a number of health issues, and have seen first hand both the beauty and joy in knowing Jesus and the hypocrisy and drudgery that come in being religious without having that relationship.

Author’s Note
2020 is a notorious year and the responses Christians have had to the various issues has been diverse - be it the pandemic or protests, PPE or politics, pedophilia, or prophecy. The issues raised this year are numerous and if we, as the body of Christ, do not respond Biblically to each and every situation may find that we have disqualified ourselves, in the eyes of the world, before we ever got to the goal of sharing the Gospel.
I’m writing this little book to help lay down my thoughts on the various topics and publishing it in hopes of helping maybe another brother and sister or two in Christ, to follow Jesus more closely as we live out our lives.
While this book is written for and to Christians, if you are not a Christian - I want you to know that I have prayed especially for you. I have prayed that You would come to see Jesus as you read this book and that God might grant you lovingkindness and draw you to come to know Him - regardless of what you have or haven’t done and regardless of what you do or don’t believe about God at this moment. My desire is to see you in eternity and rejoice that God has saved you by His grace.
I recently started a blog just to document my journey of coming to know God more - if you have questions or want to know more - feel free to connect here: https://www.knowinggodmore.com/
