Lutz Schneider lives with his wife, Evelyn, in an old farmhouse in beautiful Rhineland.
Ever since he studied the biology of evolution, over 20 years ago, he has been interested in marginal health subjects, which are often hidden from the main stream, but which are scientifically well accepted. He teaches this knowledge, not only to his students, but also reaches a wider audience in Germany with his various publications.
In his books, he speaks about subjects, the positive effects of which are widely unknown and on which he can pass on his own experiences. All of his publications, therefore, are based on indisputable scientific facts, but also encompass his own very personal experiences and knowledge. Lutz Schneider’s easy to read work puts the reader into a relaxed and pleasant ambience, while gaining insight into a subject which few know anything about but which everyone could profit from.
Preface
Your hands are shaking – is it a sign of a neurological disease? Your stomach aches – is it a sign of colon cancer? And the cold from a few days ago – could it be the first sign of a serious immune disorder?
Have you asked yourself such questions when you have felt unwell? I used to preoccupy myself with these types of questions every day. I would like to tell you my story and show you how I helped free myself from my fears.
Perhaps some of my stories are recognisable to you, or perhaps you have been experiencing something else. Every experience is different. This short summary of my personal story may help you to understand how I came to write this book.
I cannot remember exactly how it began. I think there were already short phases of hypochondria during my childhood, but I do not remember them all that clearly. However, I do remember a few episodes from that time.
One episode, that I can remember, was as follows: As a child, I was watching a film about two brothers. One of the brothers had a tumour and had lost his hair during chemotherapy. I could not get to sleep easily for weeks after that, because I thought that I could feel something in my head, that I would get sick and lose all of my hair. It got so bad, that I could hardly concentrate at school. I began getting lots of headaches and became afraid,
