Chapter One
Then
I’d like to start off as far back as I could remember.
With both my parents being drug addicts while I lived with my Grandmother in Compton, California. I know, I’ve seen the articles on how the place I was born and raised in, became a ghetto
. I have no hate or bad things to say about my birth home, it was all I knew and although what surrounded me wasn’t great, I can’t just put that label on everyone there now.
That isn't what this story is about and it will be the only time I even mention it for a little bit of backstory. We're here to go through what I went through and where you come from doesn't determine who they are or who they are.
To continue, I’m absolutely sure though, that any kid or person having parents like mine, or even a life like mine, can relate somewhat to my story. That's fine if you do, learn alongside me and it's also fine, if you haven't been through what I
