ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
This book became a reality because of the many hours spent at the Antioch Baptist Church of Carol City’s Men’s Ministry. I will be forever grateful to these men of God for changing my life through their teachings. Yet with humility they continue to motivate me to stay humble and to realize all glory belongs to God Almighty. May God’s kindness and blessings continue to be poured upon these great ambassadors of Christ for all the days of their lives?
Thanks to my spiritual teachers at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor: Ludence Robinson. Pastor: K.C. Taylor, and the Bishop, Pastor, teacher: Arthur Jackson III.
Special thanks to pastor: Vincent, G Lewis for sharing his wisdom and knowledge so generously.

INTRODUCTION
I have written this book in order to share with the reader my experience, strength, and hope as I finally became aware of the revelation that void of spirituality, a man does not fully achieve his inherent potential. My journey began some fifty two years ago as I left my homeland, Haiti, at the age of twelve. I moved to the United States where I completed my studies, married a wonderful woman, and raised two awesome children. Being of Haitian descent and having been exposed to the American culture in latter years. I found the same state of imbalance and rigid characteristics in both cultures as it relates to the difference between the male and female species. Further examination through my studies and travels reveals the same condition for the rest of world. The female is as they say; night and day when compared with its male counterpart. This personal observation compelled me to seek answers to many of my questions. To begin with! Why are we so different from each other?
As we go through this journey together, we’ll explore the cultural and environmental factors which shapes our beings, but my ambition is for us to also arrive at the divine truth which causes us to be so unlike.
We are magnificently created by God to be spiritual beings, seeking wisdom, knowledge, love, and compassion. We were created with dominion over all other creatures on earth, in the air, and under the sea. But we traded our magnificence in exchange for self reliance. During a conversation with a good friend of mine; he asks. If we were created in God’s image; why did we disobey God, and ate of the one tree from which He commanded us not to?
This question we’ll explore together, and in the process I hope we will be able to clarify many other questions as we arrive at divine truth.
To answer my friend’s question we must be prudent by humbling our selves and not assume because we were created in God’s image, we are somehow equivalent. It’s very important that we educate our selves about God’s word because through them we are able to discern certain truths. For example, did you know that Jesus Christ himself was not born perfect? Like Adam he was a man, just as we are. Magnificently created by God to become the son of man, but not perfect.
*Hebrews 2:10 in bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.
The many sons the scripture above refers to is you and me, and the author of our salvation being made perfect through suffering is ‘Jesus’.
* Hebrews 5:7-9 during the days of Jesus’ life on earth, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission. 8-Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered 9-And once made perfect He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him.
This is why it is crucial that we study the word of God because this is how He communicates with us, through the Bible. Adam also had the choice to be made perfect but chose to be self reliant and disobeyed God. As a result, we do not have that choice today; what we do have is the grace of God in his Son Jesus. We can be Christ like by following his teachings, and in doing so reconcile with the Father.
In order to fully explore our most inner being the journey cannot be simple, or ‘earthly.’ Even if you are of the school of thought that we were created from the Big-Bang Theory, the Evolution Theory, or even if Agnostic! Let’s continue together to explore our ideas, our thoughts, and values. We do not have to agree on everything, but I trust after reading this book. Our disagreements on the specifics will become miniscule when compared with the main thrust, that is, truth is not relative.
It is in fact absolute and does not leave room for any contingencies; otherwise it’s not the truth.
