()
About this ebook
The Author is a Guadalcanal Marine. His discharge reads-- "participated in the capture and defense of Guadalcanal." He is a survivor of that dark island. The airfield there was the key to the Pacific War. Henderson Field had to be held by the Marine Corps at all costs. The Imperial Japanese Navy bombarded the airfield to blast the Marines off it.Japan sent the best men they had in the Air Force and Army against the Marines. Photos provided insights into the survival of the Marine Corps on Guadalcanal and the winning of the war there.(for troops today)
His other books are "The Sea Change "(The Flying Kate CIA ship) and "In the Shadow of the Moon."(Metaphysical basis of Terrorism in world Today. The dear old ladies are forbidden to read this scary book) (Order 1 888 280 7715) Books are high suspense and unlike any others ever written, done by a newspaperman.First book has photos. A True Tale of High Adventure. Second amplifies statement ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE ANYWHERE AT ANY TIME...which was put out on world in 1990 by author.
John S. Bohne
The author is now 94 years old, with vast experience in the religions and the various churches. He is still a newspaperman whose habit in writing is to be accurate. He set out to be a pilgrim seeker of real Reality...which made this book. Being a Northwestern University student, good looking, and a strong speaker, he could have attended the famous School of Speech (which made a number of the top movie stars) and then headed for Hollywood, but instead he studied at the Medill School of Journalism and became a writer. This was the right choice.....as later he visited Hollywood and definitely did not like the way of life there. He prefers to be on the spiritual plateau rather than the mental or physical one below. He has fashioned his life accordingly, which reflects in all of his writings. A few persons in the hometown of Oak Lawn, Illinois claimed his books changed their lives. In his travels over half the world he has visited most of the cults and churches, direct and extensively. During the Great World War he was a Guadalcanal Marine, right in the thick of the action. He was fortunate in not having to kill anyone....which he claims came about because of his personal protection under the Holy Spirit and his full trust in God. Henderson Field was the key to the Pacific War, and his service was to help keep it in operation. He is certain that people today are free because of the small group of Marines that kept the Japs from retaking the field. One of his books is "Guadalcanal-- the island of death."

Kaleidoscope of insights into the Guadalcanal Campaign.
The Focus of the Kaleidoscope::::: Japanese bullets ripped into the F4F and it fell off toward the jungle mountains below. The pilot was bleeding into the seat. He knew his wound was fatal. He saw a ridge and came around in a turn to land the plane upon it. The plane tore up ground and came to stop right on the edge of a high cliff overlooking the terrain below. The line of savage rivers could be seen coursing down in descents to the sea. The airfield, with Red Beach on the coast, was the action zone of the war. It appeared below to the west. Then the buzzing of the flies soon started, and then came the maggots that turned him into a grinning skeleton. Satan loves the skeleton more then other negatives. Man is made in the image of God. So he works to kill all men. Satan is the primary cause of the wars of History. His evil spirits inspire suicide soldiers. Satan is at war with God. He wants to be first and foremost. This is the Negative Force. The island had become Satan’s lair. The Dark Force focused into the skeleton to overview the clash of forces around Red Beach. The Battle of Guadalcanal commenced into many horrible facets. Death became the King of the island. There a small airfield became the key to winning World War II. Both Admiral King and Yamamoto knew it was so. Many Japanese had to die to try to take it back and many Marines to hold it in a bare bones defense. It was named Henderson Field.
Cover--- The sign to kill was put up after some Japs came out of the jungle to find twenty litters of wounded men waiting by roadside for pickup—they shot and clubbed the helpless men. Killed them all. Admiral Halsey also put up a billboard on a hill. It said to Kill the yellow bastards more and more yet. It was a time of killing. A time of Survival. The fate of the US was at stake on Guadalcanal.
img001.bmpThe Japanese Imperial Navy had the vast Pacific under domination down to Guadalcanal. Here they had an airfield half completed. Admiral King came to the conclusion that it was the key to winning the war. (So did Yamamoto—the Japanese came back with their best men and forces to take the airfield back.) (it was on the lifeline, etc. to Australia and New Zealand. The US Marines invaded and took it over. As a US Marine (now a survivor) I was there. We were landed with ammunition, but no food. Our ships ran away as Jap bombers would be shortly coming down from up the line at
