About this ebook
J.D. Boyd
I am J. D. Boyd, the author and writer of Marshall Minister. I’m a musician with the love of biblical history and world history. I am a man of many talents with a long work history in a lot of industries. I’m a family man and a long-distance truck driver. And going down those long lonely roads you just can’t put your mind to sleep, and that’s when the inspiration comes. I worked independently, inspired by a loving wife and, of course, the blessings from God. Without his help, I could not have lifted the pen.

CHAPTER 1
Breaker breaker 19. Is there any truck stops in the area, I lost my GPS signal about 20 miles back and it will not find any truck stops?
And a voice come back on the CB radio saying, 10 four— driver, this is Nevada state trooper, Big Bad Boy Smokey Bear.
Whats your 1020 driver?"
I come back on the CB radio saying, thanks for the come back Smokey. I’m about, mile marker 12 on I 10.
And Smokey come back and said, 6 miles a head of you, There is the old 69er truckstop and the facilities are great.
I got back on the radio and said, well thank you smoky. This here is the Twisted puppy. You have yourself a nice day and a better one tomorrow. And Signed off. The twisted puppies down and out..
Just as a put the microphone down, I seen the cop car pull out and pass me as though I was setting up on Jack stands. And just as he passed my drivers side window, he blew the horn and waved. And I’m thinking, that was very nice of him. Normally he would be checking my speed to pull me over to give me a ticket. I downshifted and throttled up to about 75 miles an hour and glanced over and saw the sign for the 69er truckstop. So I took my foot off the accelerator and turned on my turn signals. When a four wheeler passed me and cut back in very close to my front bumper. I had to slam on the brakes to keep from slaming into him. I calmed down after calling him a few choice words. And went down to the truck stopped and turned in to the fuel island. After that excursion, I glanced down at the fuel gauge and thought to myself, I got enough fuel for the night. So Ill just park and enjoy myself for the rest of the evening. Ive had a very long day today. I bet the dispatchers are raising hell. 725 miles in 11 hours, without a break. Shooting through three states and two backups in bumper-to-bumper traffic, probably doesn’t sound like fun to the average motorist. But to a long-haul trucker this might sound like a typical day. Well the rest of the night is mine.
I Just come back from getting something to eat and I went back into the sleeper for good nights rest. I feel pretty good planted on my back instead of setting up in the drivers seat. I finally get to close my eyes.
Oh no
Somebody’s knocking on the door. So I get up out of my nice comfortable bunk, step over the cooler and set back down in the driver seat to answer the door.
What can I do for you guys?
Their was three young ladies standing on the ground right by my running board. Thay looked to me like thay were about 17-18 years old, And rather attractive with their blue eyes and dark red hair. I would swear they were sisters. But being a married man, they just look like three normal teenagers. Well what is it? I don’t have all night.
We would like to speak to you about a matter, that is grave importance. The tallest girl said.
What is this about. About this time of night I have a real bad nasty sense of humor and downright grumpy. Is this a new pickup line to steal my truck or something?
No the master sent us.
The tallest girls said."
The master of what? I said,
You know, the master. She said.
You have to get to the point or I’m going back to bed.
Well the point is, We have been sent by the master to cleanse you and take you to the master.
That’s just what I figured, a new pickup line.
Good night ladies.
You’re not in a very good mood tonight are you? The tallest Girl said.
No, I’ve had a long day. And if you can get to the point maybe I can get some rest.
Betty,
This is not what I expected when one of the other girls explain. Is he really the chosen one or just another asshole?"
Betty said, The point of this conversation is not what he expects. He thinks we are prostitutes and wanting to pick him up for the evening. He has no idea who we are or why we came.
John,
Wait
Just a damn minute! How did you know my name?
And the tallest girl they called Betty said, Like we said we came from the master. We know everything about you.
But why didn’t he wait until I got home to do all this bullshit?
And Betty said, Because you don’t have time to return to your residence.
How did he track me down?" I said.
He’s the master, he knows exactly what you do every minute of the day. Okay,
you got my attention what is it exactly do you want?"
Like we said, you are to be purified and we are to take you to the master. In the purification we are to teach you, give you power on high, and take you to the master so you can get your orders from him.
Say, this is all true, why me?
Because you been chosen.
Chosen to do what?
That isn’t up to me to explain to you.
Betty are we going to get on with this? Why don’t we just take him?
And Betty said, because that’s not the proper way of doing it, and you know it. Diane you’re starting to make me wonder if I should have brought you. Are you going to give me any trouble?
Ha
what trouble could I give you?"
I don’t know but this is not the time or the place.
Betty, what ever do you mean?
Don’t give me that Diane.
Girls, do your arguing somewhere else. I have to get some sleep. I have to deliver this load in the morning.
No,
John we have to do this tonight.
Betty said.
There is no room in this truck for four people. Number two I don’t know you.
And Betty said, But we know you John.
I’m not for this kind of ordeal.
An enough of this, That Diane girl said,
And automatically she disappears and when I looked around, she was standing in the doorway of my sleeper.
What the hell,
I told you I’ve had enough of this wasting time.
She uttered some kind of language, and the truck started shaking.
I glanced back in the sleeper, and it looks like a two-bedroom flat. Big enough for nine people.
This is really starting to scare me, I wish you would get the hell out of my truck and leave me alone. And when I looked around to the other two were gone. I looked back towards the one in the doorway, and now there are three people in my sleeper.
John, like we told you, we have a job to do and you are holding us up. Would you mind coming back to your sleeping quarters?
I crawled back in the sleeper and looked around, there was room enough to hold us and hold a dance at the same time.
But who is the main speaker here?
I am
My name is Betty.
I gathered that from outside my truck. Since you invited yourself in and gave my truck more room, it looks very nice. But I think you ought to explain a lot more because I’m very tired.
Then Betty said, I know this is strange for you John, but to us it’s natural. Do you have an aunt Nancy?
Yes
but she is deceased. And why do you ask?
Because,
She told you a long time ago that you were special, and your words were like silver and gold in the eyes of the Lord. So therefore the master told us to purify you and bring you to him."
I have a question, In one word you speak of the Lord as the Lord, and in the next sentence you speak as him the master. The only ones that speak of the Master, are the ones that speaks of the devil. Which one is it? This ordeal is really starting to get under my skin and if you are from the devil, you are to remove your fat asses out of hear and leave me the hell alone. And if you are speaking of the Lord, Well, I will just see what’s going on here.
Oh I’m sorry John, Betty said, "We didn’t mean to upset you that way. The Lord Jesus Christ sent us. And yes, we do call him the master. I see that you are an learned person and not easily trapped by Satan. That truth
