ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Many times I have started writing books and never finish, but this time something was different after seeing my kids getting older and watching different behaviors in my home made me sit back and think about things that I have done in front of them. I wanted to write this book because I am an educator in the school system and the things that I have seen students do in school are things they see at home.
Secondly: I am a mom and as a mom I had to be cautious about what I do around my kids. It was not until my third child enter high school that I realized the things I said and did had such an effect on him. When he started to act out and the sad part about it was I worked with kids everyday but was blind about what was in front of me. So when it confronted me I could not believe that I had let all of this go on.
But thanks to my son Anthony who was very verbal enough to know I had to give myself a reality check. And when I reevaluate myself it was an eye opener. The shock I had for the things I had did as a mom but much less as a lady, so I hope this book helps someone to be open about their own mess.
