    Before you read this book!

It doesn’t matter what age you are, the search for meaning and purpose is inside all of us. As soon as we are able to walk we look for something to do.

We are all born with certain qualities and abilities and yet many of us never realize our potential.

For as long as I can remember I have loved eagles.

My first attraction to them happened when I noticed their ability to soar above the storm clouds.

This has taught me the ability to rise above difficult situations. To me when the eagle soars high in the sky they depict the search for a higher perspective on life, as if they are drawing closer to the heavens.

The second attraction to them is when I learned that they have the ability to see for long distances of up to 3 kilometers away, and they can also dive at a speed of up to 200 miles per hour to catch their prey.

Imagine if you could stand at the top of a 20-story building and see a person clearly.

This has taught me to trust my vision and look ahead and ‘play the long game’ in life and in business, and be strategic and fast when it counts.

The third attraction is the eagle’s confidence in their ability, for example they can carry 7-8 times their weight, and they are precise and calculating and bold when catching their prey. I have watched them do this many times, and I am in awe of their abilities.

This has taught me to recognize my talents and abilities and play to my strengths.

The fourth attraction to the eagle is its symbol of power and spirituality in many religions and countries.

In addition, the feathers are used for headdresses, pens, and dream catchers and other such symbols.

This connects to me the strength of the eagle, which is telling me to represent myself with dignity and honor.

In Celtic mythology it is thought that the eagle is the oldest of all the creatures, overtaken only by the salmon, in this culture they represent wisdom and they feel mystical and divine.

In Wales a long time ago it was thought that if an eagle appeared alone on a rock face it meant that an enemy was approaching and if there were two eagles on a rock face then that meant that peace was imminent.

This is why I have chosen the eagle. You cannot go far wrong if you understand the eagle and its power, which can be applied to leadership.

This is a fable about leadership, finding yourself, and the importance friendship.

It offers powerful spiritual and worldly insights into the power of belief in self.

Every adult and every teenager should read this book.

This book will take you on a journey of self-discovery, and enlightenment and will ignite your personal inner calling.

Please note that all of the characters in this book are based on actual people that I have met and coached, their names can never be revealed. For example Baby is based on a very young politician that needed to be coached through the minefield of politics.

Disclaimer: I do a relaxing exercise with groups where I ask people to close there eyes and I count down from 10 to 1 and I usually miss out number 6 and guess what some people cannot even continue the rest of the exercise because they are so focused on the fact that I missed out the number 6.

Read this book with an open mind, it’s fiction and the eagles and the other characters are behaving like humans, and of course it is not reality but I have explained why I chose the eagle.

So please don’t get hung up on the fact that the characters are doing human things, just sit back and enjoy.

    Chapter One

    Taking the Plunge

Live Life to the full, don’t settle for less than you are capable of

It is early morning and in the sky three magnificent eagles are soaring above the treetops, they are in a ritualistic dance, circling one another.

There is one eagle, which stands out as she soars higher in the sky than the other eagles.

Her name is Moment, and she knows that the morning is the start of new beginnings; it is filled with purity and provides the opportunity for her to have visions and receive clarity.

Moment is a high-ranking eagle, this means that her powers of spiritual insight are very strong and she is a very respected eagle. Moment comes from a long line of high-ranking eagles and her powers have been handed down to her from her ancestors, which mean that she carries a great responsibility. This is because, high-ranking eagles are expected to mentor other eagles and use their powers for good. Moment was still learning about her powers.

After her early morning flight, Moment flies down and settles onto a rock with her large claws hanging on the edge, peering over the ocean in a trance like state. Then, in an instance another eagle comes and stands next to Moment,

    Hello Moment, I saw you with the others, I wish I could soar like that;

Moment, looked at the bird that had landed beside her, his name was Fearful, she smiled and said, and You will one day Fearful.

Through her words, Moment had the ability to radiate a
