About the Author

M arie shares her story to help other’s who may be connected to the spirit world and not know what the evil side can do.

Marie met and married Rex, an Air Force officer. As they moved from place to place they raised their two daughters, Hannah and Brook. Once Rex retired the family settled in Alabama as he started his second career with an Engineering company. After forty years of marriage Rex has retired and the two spend their time traveling and enjoying their grandchildren.

T o Rex, my husband and best friend, the man I have shared more than forty years with. Not long ago I desperately needed your unconditional love and unending patience to get through the most difficult time of my life. I also needed you to hold me when I was frightened by the mental voices shouting in my head. You didn’t let me down. My heart thanks you for always looking forward to, and then enjoying the time we’ve spent together, because my happier times have been with you by my side. I have loved you always and will forever.

To my oldest daughter Hannah, a remarkable gift from God. You brighten my life with your positive, loving spirit. I’ve never shared this with you but shortly after you went on your Emmaus Walk you helped me open my heart to the possibility of God’s love. I can’t thank you enough for opening the door. I know you will never lose your enthusiastic spirit for His eternal presence in your life. I have witnessed your greatest gift, your desire to raise your precious children with the Lord in their hearts. That, I’m sure, you already know is the most powerful gift you can give them.

Thank you sweetie for the different ways you supported me when I went through such an awful time. I’m sorry for making things awkward for you when I had you pour salt all over your home. I’m also sorry for worrying you when you came to the hotel and saw me so frightened I wasn’t able to make sense. Forgive me for putting you in the position of having to deceive your father when I begged you not to let him know I‘d left Florida and was back in Alabama. That was too much to ask of you. I’ve thanked God many times for the blessing of you.

To my little one, Brook. When God gave me you he gave me a sweet, precious, giving child who deserves all that she desires. You, sweetie, have had to overcome many difficulties in your life including drug addiction and the unexpected death of your husband of just a few years. I have witnessed the Lord walking by your side. He has helped bring you out of the darkness and empowered you, both physically and emotionally. I don’t worry about you near as much now because I‘ve witnessed your incredible strength. Over the last year I have prayed that God will lay something special on your heart that will bring you endless joy as well as peace. Your dad and I are very proud of the woman and parent you’ve become. Your integrity, wonderful sense of humor, and endless strength have given your daughter a role model she can look up to. To teach her these things and so many more, makes your dad and I very proud of you.

I want to thank you for encouraging me when I was at my lowest and couldn’t get out of bed. You dropped everything to come to me when I needed help the most. I thank God for you as I remember you holding me while I sobbed in despair. Your love and support that day helped shine some much needed light on a dark day.

Introduction

A t the age of fifty I was officially an empty nester . Things were quiet at home and I was ready for a new chapter in my life. It wasn’t long before this new chapter presented itself everything having to do with the paranormal.

As I read the local newspaper one day I learned there was a psychic living nearby. I’d had an interest in psychics for a long time. I made an appointment with the psychic for a reading the following week. During my reading the psychic told me I was also a psychic medium. I was very surprised and completely confused because I hadn’t experienced anything to make me suspect this. Finding out I’m a psychic is where my story begins.

Within these pages I will take you on my journey into the psychic world. You will come to understand how vulnerable I was when you hear about the many harrowing twists and turns my life took as I progressed along this path. Most of these twists and turns were brought on by my inexperience and lack of knowledge of this world.

As things happened to me I would surf the internet looking for answers and sometimes searching for information to validate something I’d experienced. I found nothing helpful during that time. Now, ten years later, I have found information on a lot of different subjects having to do with psychics, including the subjects of spirit releasement, evil spirits, and spirit guides.

What I have learned while seeking this psychic life is important to all psychics. I discovered, by my own experience, the chaos evil spirits can cause when they target psychics and what they hope to gain from doing so. I also learned how to tell the difference between an evil spirit and one’s true spirit guide.

In sharing what happened to me, I hope to educate other psychics who may also be naïve when it comes to the paranormal. All psychics need to be prepared for some type of attack by evil spirits and know what they can do to get rid of them.

The other reason for sharing my experiences is for my daughters, Hannah and Brook. Both are to become psychics later in their lives just as I have. I want them to know all that I have learned so they can be prepared if they choose to pursue their psychic paths.
