Messages from Heaven: For My Priests, Vol. I, 1993-2016

About this ebook
To be a shepherd like Christ is a demanding vocation that is for God’s glory. The priest is to love and serve as Jesus did: I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do (John 13:15). No disciple is superior to the teacher, but when fully trained, every disciple will be like his teacher (Luke 6:40).
This book refreshes St. Peter’s exhortation to his fellow presbyters: Tend the flock of God in your midst, overseeing not by constraint but willingly, as God would have it, not for shameful profit but eagerly. Do not lord it over those assigned to you, but be examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the unfading crown of glory (1 Peter 5:2-4).
We pray this book renews its reader with a spirit of service and zeal for our Father’s house.

MESSAGES FROM HEAVEN:
FOR MY PRIESTS, Vol. I, 1993-2016
"A priest goes to Heaven or a priest goes to Hell,
with a thousand people behind."
~ Saint John Marie Vianney
GREG & MARY KUHN
Summary: A Shepherd’s Care to God’s Flock Among You. In these Messages from Heaven: For My Priests, the Suffering Heart of Jesus agonizes for the conversion of priests’ hearts to heroic holiness. God asks priests to see themselves through His eyes, with the capacity for heroic sanctity, not through limited self-vision or fear. To be a shepherd like Christ is a demanding vocation that is for God’s glory. The priest is to love and serve as Jesus did: I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do,
(John 13:15). No disciple is superior to the teacher, but when fully trained, every disciple will be like his teacher,
(Luke 6:40.) This book refreshes St. Peter’s exhortation to his fellow presbyters: Tend the flock of God in your midst, overseeing not by constraint but willingly, as God would have it, not for shameful profit but eagerly. Do not lord it over those assigned to you, but be examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the unfading crown of glory,
(1 Peter 5:2-4). We pray this book renews its reader with a spirit of service and zeal for our Father’s house.

For My Priests
"I have read the messages received by Mary Kuhn from Our Lord and His Mother and addressed ‘For My People’ and ‘For My Priests.’
What impressed me is that they are consistent with those received by the children of Fatima. The themes in the messages addressed ‘For My Priests’ are consistent with the theology of Pope Francis: Priests should not worry about material things, buildings, etc., but rather concentrate on prayer, reaching out to parishioners in need, encouraging people to spend time in prayer, etc.
I have known Greg and Mary Kuhn for 35 years, and I know they are sincere, devout Catholics. As to the authenticity of the messages, we must leave it to the judgment of Holy Mother Church. Anyone who reads these messages will be challenged! Sometimes they hit a nerve
! It’s good to be reminded of these essential aspects of our spiritual lives for our own good and that of the Church and world in which we live."

"Messages from Heaven: For My Priests is a call to holiness! The entrance antiphon for the Mass of Pastors proclaims, ‘Your priests, O Lord, shall be clothed with justice; your holy ones shall ring out their joy’ (Psalm 132:15). Priestly abandonment to the call of holiness, like King David dancing before the Ark of the Covenant with abandon (2 Samuel 6:14) turns the mourning of God’s people to joy-filled gladness and dancing (Jeremiah 31:13).
According to God’s plan, priests and all the members of the Church have been called to holiness by the grace of Jesus Christ. May the work by Mary and Greg Kuhn help our brother priests to pursue the Lord and embrace the call of holiness, following ever after until the day we all stand before the throne of God."

For God’s Priests
Foreword
My dear brother priests,
I wish to address two questions in this Foreword: (1) Are these messages legitimate? And (2) why should I read them?
Whenever anyone approaches me with alleged mystical experiences of private revelation my spiritual skepticism sends a warning to my mind: the Church decides if private revelation is true, not me or you.
A book like Messages from Heaven: For My Priests likely raises similar concerns in your own mind. Is it okay for me or my parishioners to read? How do we reconcile the contents of such messages against the public revelation of sacred scripture and magisterial teaching? In other words, are they legitimate?
Here are a few principles of our Catholic faith to aid in your discernment. It is important to remember them when anyone claims to have private revelations from Heaven:¹
The full, definitive and perfect public revelation of God’s Word for our salvation is Jesus Christ, as preserved and articulated through Sacred Scripture. There is no new public revelation that will be expected before the Lord returns in glory.
Authentic private revelation is
