      It was just a night out. Just a normal night with my normal friends (who, coincidentally, thought I was normal, too.) We were drunk, laughing, and having an amazing time. And then I made the massive mistake of leaning back in my chair, causing my shirt to ride up, and my belly to peek out.

      Well, Rachel couldn’t resist a temptation like that – and I can’t say I blame her – so she dived in to give that exposed tummy a little tickle.

      Were I a normal guy, I would have just smacked her hand away, said ‘knock it off,’ and ordered the next round. But instead I let out an obnoxiously loud giggle and squirmed around like a little kid.

      And ohhh there was no turning back from there. Rachel, realizing now that I wasn’t just ticklish, but super ticklish, started skittering her fingers under my shirt without mercy. I knew I ought to push her away and make her stop, but it had been just so damn long, and happy electricity was surging through my body, and I didn’t want it to end.

      For a minute, it was perfect. I was laughing loud and long, and her gel-manicured nails danced over my ribs until my toes were curling. The rest of the club, and all the social pressures that went with it, just melted away. Nothing existed but me and the sensation of being tickled into oblivion – which produced a buzz better than any cocktail.  

      And then I sprung a boner, and ruined everything.

      Rachel’s forearm bumped into it, and she recoiled (she’s a lesbian, so I get it, but still no one wants that kind of reaction...) Jesse, what the hell? she demanded. I thought you were gay!
