      A. Definition of gated communities

However, they share some common features, including a controlled entry and exit system, and a sense of exclusivity and seclusion from the outside world. Gated communities can be found in different forms, including single-family homes, apartments, and townhouses, and can be developed by private developers, real estate companies, or governments.

      One of the defining characteristics of gated communities is the physical barrier that surrounds them.
