About this ebook

This is a ghost story. I don't know what's different from what you usually hear, but this is something I experienced personally, so I wrote it down to commemorate a good friend of mine who has passed away.

    Wardrobe Ghost - Mamie Spenser

    Wardrobe Ghost

    Chapter 1

My name is Audrey, and this story happened when I was a sophomore. At that time, I was completely disappointed with the dormitory life. Not to mention those roommates who looked glamorous in front of outsiders but made a mess in private and never cleaned up, what I couldn't stand the most was that their loyal followers came to our dormitory every night without fail, some to chat, some to play poker, and some even stayed overnight!

So I planned to move out. My parents were transferred to another city when I was in high school, so they were very confident in my ability to make a living, but they were very stingy with financial assistance. When I heard I can only sponsor you 500 British Pound, my mouth couldn't help but open into an O shape. Please! What kind of house can I live in in this money-worshiping city D with 500 British Pound? ! My ideal one-bedroom and one-living room, my ideal white and tidy kitchen, my ideal beautiful living room, my ideal cute girl's bedroom... Ideal = fantasy, this fantasy was ruthlessly shattered by our grandmother - Only 500 British Pound, figure it out yourself.

I had no choice but to start looking for a cheap house to live in.

But is it possible? It would be best if it is close to the school, convenient transportation, near a bus stop, one bedroom and one living room, with a separate bathroom and toilet... Haha, I knew I was dreaming!

After two months, I eliminated four houses that looked like makeshift sheds built by construction workers, two houses next to simple houses of some kind of service industry, and one house where the landlord looked lecherous and a pinhole camera was found in the toilet...

In comparison, the last one looks like it is in heaven, no one is loved by everyone, flowers bloom when it appears, the gods in the nine heavens and ten earths shake their heads in fear, and it is a great environment with the golden light of thunder!

Although it is a little far from the school, it is very close to the  burbs, but there is a bus stop outside; it is located on the second floor of a four-story tube building and has one bedroom and one living room, with a separate bathroom. The landlord provides water and electricity, and you have your own bandwidth and internet cable. It also comes with some furniture, but what excites me most is that the rent is four hundred British Pound a month!

This condition made me laugh strangely every night, but the low and scary price also made me a little  spicious. When I asked the landlord, he was always evasive, and only told me that the house could not be rented out when I asked him urgently.

That's a lame excuse, isn't it? But after one of my dear roommates stole and accidentally broke my only bottle of Lancome Miracle, I became more determined than ever to move out.

So I packed my bags in a flash and moved in with the momentum and speed of the Kuomintang during its great rout - Room 21, No. 3, Unit 4, Shunfa Community (Author's note: this name is made up).

When I paid the rent and deposit, the landlord - a short and fat man in his early forties - actually had a trace of pity on his face. As a re lt, I couldn't help but remind him that he was the one who should be pitied for renting a house at this price.

I live on the left side of the second floor. There is no one living opposite me. A newlywed couple and a retired old man live downstairs. There is no one on the left side of the third floor either . There seems to be people living on the right and on the fourth floor, but I haven't seen them yet.

The newlywed couple downstairs were very kind. On the first day I moved in, the wife saw that I was struggling to drag the boxes, so she immediately called her husband to help me. I was a little embarrassed to show off my godly arm strength in front of them because of their kindness. I just drank tea with the wife and watched her husband, who was as strong as a polar bear, moving things.

The lady was petite and lovely. She was a freelance illustrator, so she basically stayed at home to finish her drawings. She didn't seem to have many friends, so when she saw me, she was as noisy as a childhood friend and warmly invited me to visit her . Her husband was a senior economist who worked in a bank in this city. He had a dark complexion and a tall and strong figure, but he looked honest and stupid. The proportions of the two people's bodies were very mismatched, which reminded me of the small egg tarts next to the oversized chocolate cake .

The retired old man opposite them was named Chen. He was probably a worker in a workshop. Although he was old, he was still very energetic. I often saw him wearing a Tang  it and going out to exercise in the morning. On the fourth morning after I moved in, I ran into him when I went out to buy breakfast and chatted with him for a while. Unexpectedly, when I told him that I lived on the left side of the second floor , his face  ddenly turned from ruddy to pale, and he looked shocked and frightened. He stared at me for a long time. Just when I was wondering if he had Alzheimer's disease, he hesitated and uttered three words: Move away!

Why?  ch a nice house can't be found even with a lantern!

This... Comrade, our rent is much more expensive than yours. Only yours is so cheap... because... because that house is haunted!

Older people are more  perstitious. Considering that my grandparents also talk about  perstition all the time , I generously forgave Old Man Chen.

the  per-strong woman who is called even ghosts will retreat by the Economics Department ! If I move out of  ch a nice house because of a ghost whose existence is unknown, do you think I am stupid?

However, my house does feel a bit haunted. There are many furniture left by previous residents in the house. There is a large mahogany wardrobe in the bedroom. The door is carved with very exquisite patterns. It looks like it has been there for a long time. There seems to be a layer of amber paste flowing on the  rface. There is also a mirror on the door of the wardrobe, with magpies and plum blossoms painted on it. There are several rattan chairs that often appear in old movies in the living room, and an antique bookshelf.

This is the perfect place for a ghost story! It was the right house. However, I regretted that there was a large window on the  nny side, and the
