Introduction
Do you sometimes feel that you are constantly surrounded by people who make terrible decisions that negatively affect you and your life? If so, you're not alone! In The Stupid People, we take a deep dive into the psychology and behavior of people who exhibit confusing and destructive behaviors. This insightful book reveals the reasons behind the manipulative tactics used by stupid people and their impact on social interactions, communication, and even violence and abuse. But don't worry-the book also offers practical strategies to help you improve your decision-making, build better relationships, and overcome your fear of change. By uncovering and working through the root causes of stupidity, you can navigate relationships with difficult people with greater ease and clarity. Beyond practical tips, the book helps readers tap into their own strengths and abilities to communicate effectively and set healthy boundaries. Ultimately, by understanding the psychology behind difficult people, we can all live happier and more fulfilling lives.
Chapter 1: Decoding the Foolish Mindset
Ihave observed that stupid people often have dreams and goals that they strive to achieve. However, their selfish outlook on life makes it difficult for them to fit into society and gain the respect of others. To compensate, they set their sights on achieving greater things through manipulation, deception, and lies.
The other overlapping aspect of their lives is that they often fail to heed the warnings of people who are trying to help them. Because they believe they are superior to others, it is incompatible for their minds to accept advice from someone they consider inferior. Instead, they learn by copying and stealing information.
They don't learn from what they are told, but from what they infer from what they observe. This makes them terrible listeners and learners, because you can't really know what's going on in their heads; they won't tell you, even if they keep repeating the same mistakes. They can only learn through their own narcissistic drive to manipulate and copy.
For example, if someone tells them not to live in a certain country or start a certain business, they tend to see it as an attempt to prevent them from achieving their goals. In their minds, these warnings are not a friendly gesture, but rather an attempt to sabotage their success.
They see it this way because they consider themselves superior to everyone else and don't really believe in help, seeing the world as a competition to see who can be smarter and fool the most people.
Because stupid people have a distorted view of themselves, they believe they are better than others, and so they see warnings as jealousy or envy. They think that people who are smarter than them are trying to keep them from achieving greatness because they are jealous of their potential success.
Since everything is one big competitive game to them, the smarter people they encounter are always seen as obstacles to their accomplishments. They may pretend to be friends with such people, but only because they think they can steal information from them and thus rob them of their results.
Stupid people don't believe in hard work, they think everyone steals from everyone else, so they think the only way to get ahead in life is to befriend someone who is ahead of them and try to get information from them.
The stupid always want to be friends with someone they think is ahead in life, with a better car, a better house, and a nice job or wife, but they consider everyone else inferior or unimportant and may even avoid them.
Stupid people are plentiful and easy to find and identify in a group because most people are actually very stupid. If you dress badly, the fools will ignore you, so you may find yourself alone with no one to talk to, or only talking to one person, the only one who is not a fool. However, if they find out that you have a beautiful wife or a luxurious car, they will immediately want to talk to you and invite you to go to many places with them.
They will pretend to want to be friends with you, when in fact they just want what you have, and because they are dishonest, they won't tell you, but instead will try to find out how you got these things by listening to how you communicate and copying the things you do.
They may even try to find out what websites you use and what you read, thinking there's a secret there. Stalking you online is a very common habit of stupid people. Not surprisingly, they may even stalk your friends and former lovers.
The only reason stupid people keep asking me to recommend books to them is because they think the books they imagine will reveal more information than my own writing. They can't believe I've written better books than the ones I've read. They see me in the same light as they see the world, as an animal jungle where everyone competes with dishonesty.
Chapter 2: The Arrogance and Ignorance Nexus
Stupid people usually think they are superior to everyone else, and they measure their worth by their perceived intellectual ability, physical attributes, or possessions, seeing themselves as superior even when there is nothing to indicate such a logical assumption. But because of this childish and self-centered view of the world, they often perceive others as they perceive themselves. They feel that everyone looks at them with the same contempt they feel for others, so they tend to compete to see who looks smarter, as if communication were just a game of masks.Because of this attitude, stupid people are unable to understand when someone with more life experience tries to explain something to them. They tend to think that anyone who is not at their level of arrogance is stupid and therefore not to be trusted. To them, anyone who contradicts what they believe about themselves is just trying to hold them back or keep them down.
The perception of stupid people is complex. It is rooted in their belief that they are superior to everyone else, which makes it difficult for them to learn from others who know more than they do. Their distorted view of the world and their self-centeredness make it hard for them to see warnings as anything other than obstacles to success.
They are probably the most difficult people to work with because you can't trust them, you can't trust what they say, and you can only get them to learn if they see benefits, even if those benefits are nothing more than food.
Interestingly, stupid people tend to respect those who offer them food very quickly. If you're a guy and you try to give a stupid girl an e-reader or a laptop, she'll think you don't love her. If you offer her dinner at an expensive restaurant that costs less than those technologies, she will think you love her.
That's not love, that's stupidity. Stupid people just love differently, they love based on appearances and what they can get, which is validation, and the most important validation for them is group validation. So a stupid woman is more proud of the things she can share with her stupid friends.
Since you don't find stupid people with smart friends, but rather people who are easy to control and manipulate, their thoughts are often aligned with the thought patterns of their peers or co-workers, which gives them a sense of comfort about their own mental illness.
Chapter 3: When Narcissism and Foolishness Collide
The term stupid people is often used to describe people who are intolerant of difference or change. They refuse to learn new things and believe they already know everything there is to know about the world.
I have also noticed that such people often hate those who are or appear to be different because they see themselves as the owners of everything that exists in reality. They have a childish mentality that sees everything as cubes, triangles, or rectangles. If someone doesn't fit into their preconceived but limited understanding of reality, they consider that person to be inferior and treat him or her with contempt.
You can see this very clearly when you travel in Northern Macedonia, Croatia, Spain or Serbia, because there are a lot of stupid people in cafes and restaurants, and they treat tourists with darker skin
