Description
Today on the show we took a look at all of the great sports throughout this State to see if and when they will be back this year to play or not. Bill focused a lot on the NBA and what they've been doing to get up and running again. Our insiders along with Bill all discussed what sports might soon follow in the footsteps of the NBA. In our first hour we played our interview with Ben Wallace from earlier in the week - regarding the Hall of Fame, how Covid has affected him, and what it was like growing up as a black man in the south, to making a name for himself and becoming such a big figure in the NBA. In our second hour we were joined by Jason Jackson who covers the NBA to get his viewpoint on games getting started back up, as well as what it’s been like for him during these trying times. Bill then spoke with Keith Langlois about the Pistons not being picked to play in the season they set up. In our final hour we were joined New York Times Best Selling Author John U. Bacon to catch up on what he and his family have been doing throughout the pandemic. We also got his thoughts on sports coming back and what the future could hold. He gave us a brief description of what book he’s working on at the moment. Kyle Austin then joined us to update us on recent news out of MSU regarding practices starting back up shortly. We wrapped up the show with an update with Dr. K about today’s Covid-19 numbers.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
