Description
In this edition of "Have You Heard", we try and turn up the volume on some killer rock that you may or may not have heard of yet. I also catch up with Canadian rockers Striker. I met up with Striker vocalist Dan Cleary as the band rolled into town on their current US tour. Dan and I talk about everything from the benefits of being a Canadian band to the current struggles of breaking a band and the latest album release "Play To Win". Striker is a Canadian heavy metal band from Edmonton formed in 2007. The band's early material had a sound influenced more by old school thrash metal, but their more recent material has a more melodic sound influenced by traditional heavy metal. Chris Segger- guitar (2007-2014, 2017–present) Dan Cleary- vocals (2007–present) Adam Brown- drums (2010–present) Tim Brown- guitar (2013–present) Pete Klassen- bass (2019–present) Buy and Support Music From The Artist We Discuss On This Episode Growin’ Up Rock Amazon Store Striker Website Music in this Episode Provided by the Following: Kobra & The Lotus, Lowrider, Wraith, & Striker To Contact us just click this link: @growinuprock.com WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Klassik ’78 Interview w/ Joe – EP035: Klassik ‘78 is a sonic trip back to your bedroom circa 1978, with your Kiss records on the turntable cranked up , distorting the cheap speakers ever so slightly in order to shake the walls while your parental units were away. - by Growin' Up Rock
