Why do we eat? On the surface it seems like a simple question – we eat because it’s biologically necessary for our survival. But for us humans, it’s a bit more complex than that. We eat for a number of reasons. We eat for social and emotional reasons, to celebrate big occasions, or as solace when we’re depressed or anxious.
