The largest church in Erding,St. Johann’s Parish Church, is located in the old town. This brick building dating from the 14th century stands out especially for its bell tower. It’s worth climbing the 163 steps to the top of the 35-metre-high tower. From here you have a tremendous view over the rooftops of Erding and its surroundings. The main attraction in the Erding thermal spa is the waterslide park, “Galaxy”. There are 20 slides of different sizes under a 25-metre-high metal dome. You will also find the longest tube slide in Europe here at 360-metres long.
