We have visited Cape Charles for years. Definitely go to nearby Kiptopeke Park and from September to November visit the Hawk Count site run by Coastal Virginia Wildlife Observatory to see the raptors migrating. Very lovely. Great bakery in town.

The historical town was so pretty. The beach there was very nice. They also had a public fishing pier. So if you love fishing it was a great spot. There was lots of shops and restaurants.

Downtown Cape Charles was lovely. Everyone was so friendly, the Cape Charles Coffeehouse was a must for breakfast and the Oyster Seafood Farm Marina is definitely a hidden gem. We will be returning to Cape Charles again and again.

There is a little coffee shop in town that was amazing! Cape Charles coffee. The wildlife refuge was pretty cool. Enjoyed looking at the marsh & cannon.
