"Overall this is a great place and very convenient for going to Shenandoah. The only aspect where I thought things were lacking was the cleaning, as there was a bag of trash left hanging from the door and there was no shampoo. I didn’t discover the missing shampoo until it was too late to do anything about it, which was unfortunate because I really wanted to wash my hair."

"Lovely couple running this motel. Very friendly and accommodating. Gave us great suggestions on where to look for dining possibilities, and we enjoyed a Peruvian meal. Comfortable and clean. No special channels on TV, but we were in the area for a sad family occasion, so no big deal. Hostess gave me a bucket of ice which kept cold in the refrigerator. My only suggestion for improvement would be to buy some real glass glasses. I'm always appalled by single use plastic and did not enjoy unwrapping...

"We came up from Florida to spend Thanksgiving at Bear Chase Manor. There were 11 of us in total ranging from grandparent down to a 4 year old. We all had a great time and were very comfortable in this spacious, beautiful house. The view is spectacular and the brewery right next door is great.
