"prices were more than double than usual because of the holiday in Shanghai, however, the staff was very helpful to cover up this gap, being the only foreigner to visit Putuoshan at this time... and not much prepared to welcome foreigners in this beautiful island..."

Inexpensive hotel in the city of Zhoushan
"Hotel is situated in a large lot, which is rare in China. Room is pretty big, but furnitures are old fashioned. The bed is not very comfortable (not firm enough) and probably needs to be replaced. Hotel staff at check in does not understand one word of English."
