Outnumbered will be back for more
A top BBC boss has assured fans there's more in store for OUTNUMBERED, despite teen star TYGER DREW-HONEY suggesting it was curtains for the sitcom.
Drew-Honey, who plays eldest son Jake, cast doubt on the future of the BBC family show last month after revealing producers' concerns that his younger co-stars were outgrowing their roles.
He admitted, "I think they don't want to dive in this year and do a whole series because it might not work with the kids getting older."
The 15 year old also hinted that the series, about a couple and their three troublesome children, might only return for one-off special episodes.
But BBC Television's Head of Communications Sam Hodges has taken to Twitter.com to refute the rumours, revealing there are plans for a fifth series in the pipeline.
Hodges Tweeted, "Outnumbered fans - contrary to reports, talks are already under way regarding a new series on BBC One."
