Horror and thriller fans have a lot to look forward to in the New Year as Shudder has unveiled the new films coming to the platform in January 2025
Shudder, the dedicated streaming platform for horror and thriller enthusiasts, has announced a thrilling line-up of new releases set to hit screens in the New Year.
With an extensive catalogue of spine-chilling films and TV series, Shudder is the go-to destination for those who like their popcorn served with a side of suspense. Among its current offerings is the critically acclaimed horror flick, Late Night With The Devil, which pop sensation Ariana Grande recently hailed as one of her top horror picks of 2024.
The plot centres around a late-night talk show host who resorts to extreme measures to ramp up his ratings, inviting on a young girl claiming to be possessed by a demon named 'Mr Wriggles'. Garnering a whopping 97 per cent critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, fans have lauded it as "one-of-a-kind" and "fun, fast-paced and fantastically performed."
Available in the UK at £4.99 per month, Shudder offers a seven-day free trial for new subscribers. It can also be accessed via Amazon Prime Video, although a Prime subscription is required and the service is not included in the Prime package.
Shudder has now unveiled its January 2025 line-up, featuring some original productions set to delight horror and thriller aficionados, reports the Mirror.
