Terrific film. "White Heat" is scheduled to air on TCM this Friday at 12:45 P.M. Pacific Time/3:45 P.M. Eastern Time. "High Society" will air on TCM at 12:00 P.M. Eastern Time on Saturday. "Casablanca" will air Sunday at 11:00 A.M. Pacific Time on TCM. "Gone With the Wind" unedited will air on TCM Sunday beginning at 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time. I have watched "Casablanca" & "Gone With the Wind". I have yet to watch "High Society" or "White Heat".

Gone With the Wind is something else. If it hadn't been my aunt's favourite film, I'm not sure I'd ever had seen it.

It is an incredible film. TCM has some books out. 1 is titled "Forbidden Cocktails" by Andre Darlington. It is a cocktail book inspired by precode Hollywood. Another is by Alonso Duralde titled "Hollywood Pride" about L.G.B.T.Q. representation & perseverance in film. I put on "Shanghai Express".

I have a book somewhere written by retired "gigolo" of sorts who was very involved in the LGBTQ side of things during Hollywood's golden age. He slept with plenty of them but also facilitated meetings and arrangements.

Cool. I think that the late drag queen ''Divine'' is in that Hollywood Pride book. I saw saw her in ''Pink Flamingos'' & ''Hairspray'' years ago.

I've never seen her "live". Only in promo pictures for Hairspray.

That was Edith Massey in that crib. "Pink Flamingos" is shocking & in bad taste, but is also a cult classic. "Polyester" & "Female Trouble" Divine was also in & those films were as well made by John Waters.

That's what John Waters was going for, isn't it? Shaking people up.
