Since graduating from John Carroll University in 2000 with a B.A. in Economics, Christian has solely worked as an independent financial advisor and has been affiliated with LPL Financial since 2004. LPL Financial is the single largest independent broker dealer in the country (As reported by Financial Planning magazine 2017-2018) and now supports over 17,000 independent financial representatives throughout the country. The Retirement Plan Consulting Program supports the small group of advisors within LPL that have made the defined contribution marketplace a focal part of their practices. Christian is able to provide 3(21) (non-discretionary) and 3(38) (discretionary) investment advisory services to his corporate 401(K) plan clients. Along with supporting plan sponsors with the implementation and ongoing supervision of their retirement plans, Christian actively engages with plan participants in discussing asset allocation and future retirement plan goals.
As President of Fiduciary Plan PartnersTM, Christian works closely with privately held businesses in various regions of the country to design and maintain defined contribution 401(K) retirement plans. Christian is able to leverage the scale of LPL to provide boutique consulting services to plan sponsors of any size organization. LPL’s Registered Investment Advisory compliance review department also insures that investment recommendations made to plan sponsors by Fiduciary Plan PartnersTM are continuously reviewed by multiple sources. Christian also meets with plan participants to talk about the importance of saving for retirement, plan investment choices, personal financial planning and general financial wellness.
Mark has over 17 years of industry experience as an independent financial advisor and joined LPL in 2013. He graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Finance and has also earned the prestigious designation of Certified Financial Planner™ professional.
Mark provides support to Fiduciary Plan PartnersTM in the new plan implementation, transfer process and support of our 401(K) corporate retirement plan clients.Post plan installation, Mark works with our participants on financial wellness and their overall planning process. By actively engaging with our plan participants, very often we experience higher participation rates as we work retirement savings into a budget. This can potentially benefit the higher compensated / key individuals in the plan by allowing them to contribute larger amounts without receiving portions of their deferrals back at the end of the year due to failed discrimination testing. It also grows the plan at a quicker pace allowing us to request recordkeeping discounts and lower overall fees to the plan.
