Sam Jackson Still Knows the 'Pulp Fiction' Bible Verse 20 Years Later

As we've made everyone aware, this year marks the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters, and the classic paranormal comedy is returning to theaters later this year as part of the ongoing celebration. But this year also marks the 20th anniversary of Best Picture nominee Pulp Fiction from director Quentin Tarantino. There hasn't been as much pomp and circumstance for this anniversary, mostly because it's not the kind of film you can merchandise like Ghostbusters. But across the pond, Graham Norton came up with a pretty good tribute to the film by having Samuel L. Jackson recite his famous monologue. Watch!
Here's Samuel L. Jackson reciting Ezekiel 25:17, all from memory, on The Graham Norton Show:
This is undoubtedly one of the most iconic monologues of all-time, and it has made this scene one of the most iconic in modern cinema's history. In fact, it's so revered that this is the bible verse that Anthony & Joe Russo had placed on Nick Fury's fake tombstone at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. And it's truly awesome that Jackson hasn't forgotten this monologue 20 years later. It reminds us of how Tom Hanks still knows how to play "Chopsticks" on a giant piano as he did in Big, not to mention still knowing the "Shimmy Shimmy Cocoa Pop" rap, which Graham Norton was also responsible for reviving. Bad ass?
